Baporiyu (guj: an afternoon nap) - In-house Magazine
This came at a time when I was feeling a little saturated with video as a medium, and I was generally tired of digital consumption. The motivation was
two pronged. One, I wanted to create something that can be enjoyed without the interference of notifications or distractions of social media. Two, I really wanted to explore publication design from start to finish - an unfulfilled desire of mine since college.
 
This resulted in Baporiyu.
A print magazine which is perfect for an afternoon nap. With stories, poems, photo essays and illustrations of home cooking from around the country, this
was my attempt at creating a piece of art that is easy to consume,
both visually and emotionally.
