I was a below average student in school. Painting, theatre, and music kept me occupied, which indirectly led me to design school. My initial work years were spent in assisting some film makers, educators and theatre directors, after which I founded bay101 film studio in 2017. It would be a blatant lie if I said I had everything figured out even 3 years into running the company.

In the lockdown, I shot a series of monsoon recipe videos with my mother - and almost accidentally, my love for food and film came together seamlessly without trying too hard. Soon enough, I ventured into the history and folklore around India's culinary heritage, which has brought me to where I am today - rediscovering what it means to be Indian, through telling fables of food + teaching classical hatha yoga.
